Site description: The STS-2 sensor is located in a special casing on a stope in the cellar of 18th century church of the Monastery. The monastery is located on top of a 150 m high mountain. The geology is thin interlacing layers of sandstones, claystones and siltstones called Carpathian Flish, covered by a few meters of soil.

Data processing: Station is cooperated with the GEOFON network. There is a telephone dialup line and connections are established every hour. Data is then disseminated from Warsaw where it is also analyzed and archived.
